Your data rights

Last updated: 10 August 2026

Under the GDPR you have a number of rights over the personal data you shared with us. This page explains them in plain language and how to use them.

What you can ask for

  • Access, a copy of the details we hold about you, including the messages we sent you and your replies.
  • Rectification, correction of anything that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Erasure, deletion of your details.
  • Restriction, that we pause using your details while a question is being resolved.
  • Objection, that we stop using your details for updates or similar purposes.
  • Portability, your details in a common, machine-readable format.
  • Withdrawing consent, at any time, without affecting what happened before.

How to exercise them

  • Email info@sgsbenelux.nl and tell us what you would like. Mentioning your reference code helps us find your registration quickly.
  • We answer within one month. If your request is complex we will tell you and explain why.
  • Quick alternatives: use the cancel link in your confirmation to withdraw your registration, and the unsubscribe link in any email, or reply STOP on WhatsApp or SMS, to stop the optional updates.

If you are not satisfied

  • You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

More detail

  • The privacy notice explains what we collect, why, where it is stored and for how long.
